In-Home Aide (Greater Kansas City, MO surrounding areas)
Position Summary:
The In-Home Aide works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or designee and performs tasks that contribute to the client's comfort and safety in the home.

Qualifications
Be eighteen (18) years of age.
Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow written Plan of Care and document tasks performed.
Have a valid Driver's License.
Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
Possess good interpersonal communication skills.
Have at least (6) months paid work experience in one of the following: As an Agency Homemaker, Nurse Aide, Maid or Household worker.
OR have at least one (1) year of experience, paid or unpaid: in caring for children or caring for sick or aged individual.
Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability
- Remain with client at all times. If the client requests privacy, remain in adjacent room, staying alert to possible needs of the client.
- Communicate client conditions/changes, questions, and concerns to the Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Do not violate client confidentiality.
- Do not violate client employee relationship.
- Know and understand Client’s Rights and Responsibilities.
- Know and understand 1st Access Code of Ethics.
- Follow Infection Control Guidelines.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
